CSU Bakersfield's top beach volleyball pair, freshman, Emily Hansen, and grad student Sydeny Haynes, have been named to the 2018 Big West Women's Beach Volleyball All-Conference Second Team by a league-wide coaches' vote.
Hansen is from Bakersfield and graduated from Centennial High School, while Haynes is from Vancouver, Wash.
The duo were CSUB's top beach volleyball duo finishing the season 8-19. They beat other top duo from Vanguard University and Sacramento State three times each and picked up win over the University of New Mexico and Cal State LA.
This is the second All-Big West honor for Haynes. During the 2016 season she earned First Team All-Big West honors. Haynes finished her beach career as the CSUB's all-time leader in victories with 43.
