The Runners will travel to play #3 Stanford Friday 12/1 at 7:00 PM. CSUB also played Stanford back in 2014 in its only other D-I NCAA appearance. "It doesn't matter who we're playing it's just the fact that we're there," said fourth year head coach Giovana Melo. "It doesn't matter what's the score or who's on the other team, as long as we're playing our best, that's the best that we can possibly do."

The team features 3 players from local high schools including Liberty graduate Haylee Roberts. "(We're) obviously underdogs but we're coming to fight and we're ready to play," Roberts said. "No matter who it was going to be we were going to be ready to play."
