The CSU Bakersfield volleyball team defeated UTRGV 3-1 in the WAC Tournament Final to earn the Runners' 2nd ever automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

After knocking off #1 New Mexico St. Friday night, the Runners (who entered the tournament as the #4 seed) dropped the opening set to the Vaqueros 25-27.
However they would rally to win the next three sets 25-18, 30-28 & 25-18 to win their 2nd tournament in the last 4 years.
Next Sunday (Nov. 26th) at 6:00 PM on ESPN U the Runners learn who their opponent will be in the NCAA D-I Selection Show.
The Runners are expected to return to the Icardo Center Sunday, Nov. 19th around 12 P.M.
