BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — If you're looking to enjoy a couple of drinks and appetizers while helping a good cause, this event is just for you.

The Josh Farler Foundation is hosting the Kern Margarita Championship on Saturday, August 24.

There will be margarita tastings from local competitors, food pairings, live art demonstrations, patient art exhibits, live music by Mento Buru and more.

Competitors include Sonder, La Costa, La Mina, The BLVD, Casa Munoz, Texas Roadhouse, and Old Fashion Social Drinkery.

All proceeds will benefit Kern County cancer patients who need assistance while traveling for treatment.

It's taking place at 3921 N Sillect Avenue from 6-10 p.m.
