From Bakersfield to the big leagues, catching up with Brewers' pitcher Corbin Burnes

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Former Centennial pitcher, Corbin Burnes, was called up by the Milwaukee Brewers in July of 2018. He's made quick work of his rookie season, starting off with a win in his major league debut and continuing into a prominent role out of the Brewer's bullpen in their current postseason run.

Pitching during postseason has been a dream come true for Burnes, but has been a surreal experience for the 23-year-old.

"It was something you dream of as a kid, growing up starting to play baseball, but not something I had imagined when the season started," Burnes said.

Corbin caught up with Sports Director Kari Osep ahead of the National League Championship Series about pitching in big moments, the talent in the Brewers bullpen and his expectations for his team during the series.
