Bakersfield Drillers girls volleyball varsity team swept East Bakersfield Blades on Tuesday night, 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-10).
The Drillers improve to 10-1 on the season while the Blades drop to a 6-7-3 record.
League play for area volleyball teams begins next week.
