This week's male athlete of the week is West High's sophomore running back Leauauna Laulu Jr.

Teammates and coaches call him the "Samoan Sledgehammer" for his downhill style of running that was on full display in the Vikings' 38-36 win vs. Chavez. 

Laulu Jr., or LJ as his teammates affectionately call him, carried the ball 22 times for 160 yards and a touchdown.
