After checking career boxes at every stop along her basketball journey, Erica McCall can mark one she must have been dreaming about her whole life. The Ridgeview graduate was taken by the Indiana Fever as the 17th pick in the second round of the WNBA Draft.
The daughter of CSUB women's basketball coach Greg McCall, Erica was a four year starter at Stanford where she recently led the Cardinal to a Final Four appearance by with a game winning block over Notre Dame in the Elite Eight.
McCall becomes just the second player drafted from Kern County joining Nikki Blue (West HS/UCLA).
