Son of Joey Porter, former NFL linebacker and Foothill Trojan, Joey Porter Jr. committed to Penn State on Tuesday.
The North Allegheny cornerback is the No. 1 recruit out of Pennsylvania and the No. 300 prospect in the country.
Porter Jr. thanked his family on Twitter upon announcing his commitment, giving a shoutout to his father for introducing him to the sport of football.
