UPDATE (8:28 a.m., Monday, Nov. 27): The Bakersfield Condors have announced that this year's Teddy Bear Toss brought in a record number of Teddy bears.

The Condors tweeted that they received 10,549 bears.

All time, the team has collected 121,395 Teddy bears.

The previous single-game record of 8,075 came in 2009.

In front of the fifth largest crowd in Bakersfield history, the Condors beat the San Antonio Rampage 7-3.

8,862 fans packed into Rabobank Arena for the team's 19th annual Teddy Bear Toss.

Thousands of bears were thrown onto the ice after Brad Malone netted Bakersfield 1st goal in the 2nd period.

All of the bears will be counted Monday morning and donated to dozens of organizations by the United Way of Kern County.

The team is expecting another sellout crowd for "Field Trip Day" Thursday at 10:30 AM.
