On the first Star Wars day in the history of Sam Lynn, the Blaze cruised to an easy 8-0 win over visiting Lake Elsinore Storm.
Blaze bats got rolling early in the first inning with a Jay Baum RBI single blasted into left.
A night after hitting a 2-run HR, Chantz Mack cleared the bases with a double to the gap in left center.
Tyler Herb pitched six scoreless innings allowing just one hit and picked up his second win of the early season. His already stellar ERA dropped from 1.64 to 1.00.
The Blaze improved their record to 7-10 taking 3 of 4 over the Storm. The Blaze is off Monday before setting out on a 10-game road-trip starting in Lancaster.
