BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Cal State Bakersfield baseball team began their season on a winning note. Facing the Pac-12's Washington State Cougars, the 'Runners bounced back from a Friday night loss to take the final two games of the series.

The first sereis win of the season gives CSUB a 2-1 record heading into a road game against Loyola Marymount on Wednesday, Feb. 19.
