Serena Williams fell in the Wimbledon final Saturday, losing to Romanian Simona Halep in straight sets, 6-2 6-2.
The win marks Halep's first Wimbledon championship and second major win, following a win in the French Open in 2018.
Williams was seeking her first grand slam title since she won the Australian Open in 2017. She was pregnant at the time of that win.
