BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The No. 7 Bakersfield College Renegades volleyball team opened up the CCCAA SoCal Regionals with a 3-0 sweep over tenth-seeded Chaffey.

Player of the Year Penelope Zepeda led her team with 12 kills while Emily Clark finished with four blocks, including one that earned the final point of the match.

The ladies head to the second round to face off against No. 2 Grossmont on Saturday, with the winner moving onto the State Finals.
