BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Twelves post offices in California's Central Valley have reported thefts. The United States Postal Services said Friday that their postal inspectors are investigating the federal crimes of breaking into a post office and stealing mail.

Postal inspector Jeff Fitch said counties impacted include Kern County, Tulare County, Fresno County and King County.
