BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Twenty years ago, thousands of people in Bakersfield woke up to six inches of snow covering buildings, streets and yards.
On Jan. 25, 1999, a snow storm hit Bakersfield, and forced classes to be canceled for students and teachers.
