Highway 58 in Bakersfield near Towerline Road will remain closed overnight

According to the California Highway Patrol, 58 at Towerline Rd. has been closed since 5:00 pm. The decision was made just before 9:00 pm to close the freeway overnight.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — California Highway Patrol is advising motorists that Hwy 58 will remain closed in both directions at Towerline Road in Bakersfield due to several cars sliding off the road and a jackknifed semi truck.

The Grapevine remains open.
