Twenty-five immigrants to become citizens during ceremony in Keene

KEENE, Calif. — In honor of Cesar Chavez Day, 25 immigrants will become U.S. citizens in Keene Friday morning.

Cesar Chavez Day falls on Sunday this year, however, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will present a Naturalization Ceremony at 10 a.m. today.

The ceremony is done in cooperation with the National Park Service. Raul Moreno, who is the chief executive officer of the Education and Leadership Foundation, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker.

It's scheduled to be held at the Cesar E. Chavez National Monument in Keene.
