BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Two people are injured after a rollover crash southeast of Bakersfield Saturday evening.
It happened just before 9 p.m. on South Edison Road and East Panama Lane.
According to CHP, the vehicle was driving at a high-rate of speed, when for an unknown reason, the driver veered across the northbound lane and hit a dirt embankment rolling into a field.
CHP said the driver suffered moderate injuries and the passenger suffered major head injuries. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol are factors in this crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
