President Donald Trump was rushed out of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night after reports of gunshots.

A Scripps News employee who attended the event said they heard gunshots outside the ballroom where event was being held.
The Secret Service said the president and first lady were not injured in the incident. No other injuries have been reported.
President Donald Trump praised law enforcement for the job they did in keeping everyone safe.
"The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we “LET THE SHOW GO ON” but, will entirely be guided by Law Enforcement," he stated.
The Secret Service said one individual is in custody.
People attending the event have been asked to leave.
