Bakersfield ended July with 14 consecutive days in the double digits.

August started off at 100°, ending that streak.

We'll be close to 100° for the first weekend of August, too, before cooling a bit on Monday.

From there it's a return to summer heat.

Triple digits are expected to close out next week!
