Good news all around! Temperatures will average around normal for the week ahead! Air quality and visibility is also improving!

Seeing those 90's until Tuesday, before a weak trough moves over the Pacific Northwest dropping temperatures even further. Seeing those high 80's for the remainder of next week.

Along with these cooler temperatures, we will also continue to see blue skies! Air quality alerts have been dropped statewide, according to the National Weather Service. As for here in Kern County, we will see moderate air quality for Sunday, with an AQI of 100. We will continue to monitor smoke from the California wildfires.
