Dense fog and above average temperatures for Sunday!

and last updated

A high pressure system will remain in place on Sunday, bringing up that warm weather. Temperatures will run about 15 degrees above average throughout Central California on Sunday. We will also see a return of this fog, with a dense fog advisory in effect from midnight through 11 a.m. on Sunday. During this time we will see that unhealthy air quality, with an AQI of 152. However, we could see some improvement in our air quality starting next week, as we see an increase in winds. Our mountain communities will be under a high wind watch through 4 a.m. on Wednesday, where gusts could reach up to 30 - 50 mph.

This system will start to move westward early next week, which will be replaced by a cold front. Temperatures will fall significantly by the end of next week. We are also tracking a chance of rain by next Friday, where we will see a return of the 50's!
