Expect dry weather, along with chilly nights and mild afternoons throughout the next seven days. Low temperatures will fall near the freezing mark in the coolest parts of the San Joaquin Valley on Saturday and Sunday night.

A low pressure system dropping into Southern California will bring a period of breezy conditions over the Mountain areas on Sunday and Monday night. Along with this, most of Kern County will see moderate air quality on Sunday, with an AQI of 83.

Due to gusty winds, low humidity, combined with dry fuels, a fire weather watch has been issued for the mountain areas. The watch will go into effect at 4 a.m. Monday until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
