Fog possible overnight, rain on track for next week

23ABC Evening weather update February 12, 2026
Posted

After a few fog free days, a Dense Fog Advisory is once again in effect Thursday night.

Fog chances are higher in the Valley north of Kern, but fog is still possible for us overnight.

Besides the fog chance, our weather will remain relatively calm.

Highs in the 50s and 60s are expected across Kern through Sunday.

By Sunday night, our weather changes.

Showers start up in Kern late Sunday night, and become widespread early Monday.

Additional showers are likely Tuesday, too.

Another storm is possible Wednesday into Thursday.

Widespread rain is expected across Kern, and many spots could pick up over an inch next week.

Mountain snow is expected too, and we could even see some snow over the passes, especially with the second storm.

There's lots to keep an eye on over the next several days!
