Heat alerts have once again been issued for parts of Kern County.
An Extreme Heat Warning will be in effect for the Kern desert Thursday through Monday.
Temperatures there could exceed 110° during that time.
The rest of Kern will be hot then, too.
Bakersfield will likely be near 105°, which would tie the hottest day of 2026 so far.
Mountain towns will be in the mid 90s, and the KRV will likely exceed 100°.
