A high pressure system is starting to build through next week. This system will be conducive toward fog and low clouds. There will be a level four transportation risk during this time for much of the area affected. Highways impacted will include; Highway 41, Highway 43, Highway 198, Highway 99 from Delano to Fowler, and I-5 south of Kettleman City.
This system will also bring warmer temperatures. Parts of Kern County will reach the 70's late next week! We will see the coolest conditions to end the weekend on Sunday, but temperatures will gradually climb throughout the week.
As for Sunday the air quality will remain in the unhealthy range for those sensitive groups, with an AQI of 119.
Winds are looking to remain light through the weekend.
