Saying goodbye to the 90's! A cool onshore flow will bring cooler temperatures starting early next week, but a warming trend will pick back up by the weekend. These above average 90’s will reach seasonal temperatures by Tuesday, dropping into the high 70’s to low 80’s. This will also bring breezy winds to the mountain and desert areas.
A warming trend will start to pick up by next weekend, hitting the mid 80’s by Saturday. This is also a reminder that heat related deaths are preventable. Don’t leave children or pets in the car. That 80-degree weather outside will turn into nearly 100 degrees in just 10 minutes! And we are seeing even hotter temperatures than that!
Air quality will be considered unhealthy to sensitive groups on Sunday, with an AQI of 129.
