The forecast this week is fairly straightforward.
It's going to be warm for most of Kern County.
Valley highs will be in the mid 90s through the work week, with upper 90s and even some triple digits in the desert.
Highs will be just about 90° in the KRV, and a bit more comfortable in the mountains, in the 70s and 80s.
This weekend looks to bring a slight cool down, but no major swings in temperatures are expected over the next seven days.
