A ridge of high pressure continues to build over the next several days. Staying in the 90's for the rest of the weekend. Temperatures are running about 10 degrees above average until Thursday! However, a cooling trend will bring temperatures back into those seasonal 70's by next weekend! Along with cooler temperatures, Kern County will see fairly light winds throughout the week.

On the other hand, air quality will remain unhealthy for those sensitive groups, with an AQI of 108 on Sunday. Hazy skies will be prominent throughout much of the week. Much of Central California will see poor air quality for Sunday!
