A high pressure ridge will start to rebuild on Sunday. This will bring back temperatures in the upper 90's for the week ahead. Temperatures will rise above average for most of the week.

A shift in wind patterns will bring more smoke to the region on Sunday, however the county will remain in the moderate range, with an AQI of 93. We will continue to have updates on the air quality due to smoke from the California wildfires.

Strong winds will take over the desert and mountain communities for Monday and Tuesday. However, gusts and humidity will not be strong enough for a red flag warning. We will update if this changes.
