Bakersfield hit 101° on Friday.
That extends the second heatwave of the year to four days.
It could very well extend some more, as temperatures are expected to stay around 100° through the weekend and possibly into next week.
Toward the end of next week we are keeping in mind on some potential changes.
A few models favor warmer temperatures and more humidity.
In the meantime dry, seasonably warm weather continues!
