Bakersfield has had highs in the 80s both Monday and Tuesday, but warmer weather is on the way just in time for the Kern County Fair.
The high on Wednesday won't be too bad, at 93°, but Thursday looks much warmer with high of 98°.
The high falls back to around 92° on Friday.
The good news is the warmer weather won't last.
Highs will likely fall back into the 80s by either Sunday or Monday.
