The Cedar Fire has grown to 21,017 acres and remains at 5% containment as of Tuesday morning.
Mtn. 50 was closed Tuesday afternoon in both directions to and from Johnsondale between Mtn. 107 and Forest Route 23s16.
Evacuations are still in effect.
The fire started around 4:35 p.m. Tuesday in the Green Horn Mountains above Wofford Heights and Lake Isabella.
The Chimney Fire in neighboring San Luis Obispo County has reached 37,101 acres and is 35% contained.
