The Kern County coroner has now ID'd the second man killed early Sunday morning on Ming Avenue.

The man was identified as 20 year old Juan Carlos Fuerte. A second victim, 20-year-old Jose Vega, was also killed.
At around 12:36 a.m. Bakersfield Police officers were flagged down for a report of a shooting that just occurred in the 6300 block of Ming Avenue.
BPD officials said when their officers arrived, they located the victim’s vehicle stopped in the middle of Ming Avenue, east of Ashe Road.
Officials said they found Vega and Fuerte suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
An additional adult male passenger was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
