The lockdown at Juliet Thorner Elementary School has been lifted after reports of a person wanted for robbery near the area.

The person is suspected to be involved in Monday night's police chase after the suspects fled from the scene of a robbery. He was suspected to be one of three armed men that robbed a man in the front yard of a house on Edwards Avenue, north of College Avenue, on Monday night.

Students were bussed to alternate locations after a call of someone in a backyard just west of Thorner Elementary around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The man matched the description of the suspect wanted in last night's robbery.

KCSO believes the suspect is no longer in the area and has opened the school back up.
