Elizabeth Ruiz is a national reporter with E.W. Scripps. Prior to joining the team, she was an anchor and reporter in southern Oregon and northern California.

Elizabeth joined Scripps because she is passionate about documentary-style storytelling. She loves the ability to remain genuine and honest as she digs deeper in her stories.

Raised in Colorado, Elizabeth absolutely loves to spend time outdoors. When she’s not out in nature, Elizabeth is either dancing with her Bollywood troupe or singing a good tune. She also enjoys quality time with family.
