BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — For years the people of Bakersfield have enjoyed letting their inner superheroes and villains out at the annual Bakersfield Comic Con, but now it's time to let your Disney flag fly.
The creators of Bakersfield Comic Con are now bringing Mouse-Con to the Kern County Fairgrounds.
The event is a Disneyana Fan Convention that will bring exhibits, booths and stars from the Disney world. The first Bakersfield Mouse-Con will feature specials guest appearances from Karen Dotrice ("Mary Poppins"), Keith Coogan ("The Fox and the Hound"), Mary Gibbs ("Monsters Inc.") and many more.
Disney fans can also come dressed in their best Disney Cosplay and compete in the first ever Disney Costume Contest.
Mouse-Con is coming to Bakersfield on Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. ro 5 p.m. Tickets cost $10 and kids 12 and under get in for free.
