BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Officials say the man shot in East Bakersfield Friday night, has died.
According to Bakersfield police, they received a ShotSpotter report at the 322 Clyde Street around 10:25 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot multiple times. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries shortly before 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police are still investigating, but they say at least one suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s driving a car possibly described as a white, mid-2000s Toyota Corolla.
