BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A well-deserved recognition for one of Kern County's many non-profits. Blessing Corner Ministries here in Bakersfield will be recognized as the Non-Profit of the Year in the 32nd District.

Tasha Turner from Blessing Corner joined 23ABC to share how excited they are for the recognition and tell us more about their upcoming Thanksgiving dinner.

The annual Thanksgiving dinner will be held at its location at 101 Union Avenue on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Up to 125 meals will be served to benefit homeless individuals and families. 200 additional Thanksgiving meals will be delivered to neighboring seniors and veterans. Up to 400 meals will be served at the Blessing Corner.
