BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County District Attorney's Office will be hosting its annual Voices for Victims Barbeque Thursday to help raise funds for the Kern Secret Witness Program.
Kern County DA Cynthia Zimmer joined 23ABC Morning Show to discuss what the fundraiser will look like this year and why it's important to bring attention to the Secret Witness Program.
The fundraiser this year will take place with social distancing in mind. It will be held as a drive-thru barbecue at the corner of Truxtun Avenue and L Streets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lunch includes a tri-tip sandwich, chips, a cookie and a bottle of water for $10.
