BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Before diving into some turkey and gravy this Thanksgiving, you can make some room by taking part in the 3rd Annual Turkey Day Run/Walk at the Park at River Walk.

The race goes to benefit the CAPK Food Bank and even with COVID-19 protocols in place, the race will take place live.

The Turkey Day Run will kick off Thanksgiving morning. Registration for the 5k is $40 and $35 for the virtual run. Children 9 and under cost $25 to sign up.

Deadline to sign up is Nov. 26 at 11:59 p.m.
