(UPDATE September 19, 2018 8:35 a.m.) CHP says the #3 and #4 lanes of the northbound I-5 just south of Grapevine Road will be closed for approximately two hours as crews continue to clear the roadway.

A crash involving a semi has shut down three lanes of northbound I-5, just south of Grapevine Road. 

According to the CHP page, it happened just before 11:30 p.m. CHP says the semi is on its side, but off the roadway on the shoulder. 

CHP officers say the semi went through the guard rail. The driver is out of the vehicle and appears to have minor injuries. 

If you are in the area, expect traffic delays. 

No word on when the lanes are expected to reopen.
