Congratulations to graduate Cameron Edgerle! He is graduating from Valley Oaks High School as part of the Class of 2020.

Cameron Edgerle is graduating with a 4.0 GPA from Valley Oaks High School and plans to continue at Bakersfield College studying Computer Science. Cameron has not only excelled in his academic studies throughout the years but has also competed the past six years within the Kern County Scholastic Chess Tournaments, earning multiple Top 10 placement among the best chess players in the county in the top division. Through the Industrial arts program at VOHS, he also studied five years of welding training with the intent of certification at BC. Cameron played Little League baseball at Northwest Baseball for 10 years and has umpired for a couple seasons after he aged out of the program. He has served multiple years within the Media Arts department at Canyon Hills Church, running everything from video cameras, to sound systems and on-screen media. He has farming roots in McFarland and has spent part of each summer this past decade, picking summer tree fruit and selling it to raise money for the multiple camps and activities in which he and his siblings participate. Cameron is incredibly intelligent, loyal, faithful to his commitments and loved by his family and teachers alike. Congratulations to you, Son! We are beyond proud of the man you've grown into. May the Lord continue to shine His face upon you and your future!
