BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Accelerated Urgent Care announced it will now be offering telemedicine services.
Starting Tuesday, the medical service provider is available for patients from the comfort of their own homes. Patients can see and speak with a doctor from home or on the go between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week using a phone, tablet or computer.
In order to make an appointment, you can have to create an account by submitting the required form using the "Register Now" button on their website. Once your form has been submitted, you will receive a text message, with your appointment information.
If you are not contacted within 15 minutes of submitting your form, please call 1-866-810-5850.
Most doctor visits take about 10 minutes, but you can always add time if you need to. Doctors can review your history, answer questions, diagnose, treat, and even prescribe medication.
During or after a visit, providers can send prescriptions and recommendations for over‑the‑counter (OTC) medications to a pharmacy of your choice.
