Bakersfield College offering free 2-week contact tracing courses

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield College said it is offering another set of free online courses for Infectious Disease Contact Tracing giving participants the opportunity to learn more about infectious diseases, public health, terminology, and contact tracing.

The courses last two weeks with no textbook requirements.

Public Health professor at Bakersfield College, Dr. Charles Daramola says this course is about more than COVID-19.

The course is open to any participants who wish to enroll. There are no prerequisites and the course is tuition-free.

To enroll as a first time BC student, participants should visit the Bakersfield College website and apply as a new student. To enroll in this course as a current BC student or if you previously took courses at the College, participants should login to their InsideBC account and complete an update form.
