BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield College announced the Child Development Center will open its doors on Monday.
BC said reopening will occur in stages, with this first stage focused upon providing service on campus to the children of essential workers. Students taking summer classes will have the opportunity to enroll their children at the CDC in order to gain the time needed to focus upon their own learning.
The Center will provide alternative options for parents wanting to enroll their children. The BC CDC will have two enrollment options: the traditional drop-off option and the virtual learning environment that has been pioneered during the BC campus shift to online learning.
Individuals interested in enrolling their children should contact Denise Ehret at (661) 395-4386 or dehret@bakersfieldcollege.edu or visit the website.
