Officials with the Outlets at Tejon say that the shopping center will stay open.

Officials had to clarify questions from Kern County residents following the governor's statewide closures of several businesses.

Officials said in a release that the Outlets at Tejon is an outdoor retail center and not subject to the governor's order.

In the meantime, the outlets will continue its efforts to ensure the safety of its guests and employees. They also say social distancing protocols will stay in place both in the common areas and within individual stores.
