Public health announces two more COVID-related deaths and 107 more cases

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Public Health Department announced two more coronavirus-related deaths and 107 more positive cases throughout the county Tuesday.

The total number of cases throughout the county sits at 4,665, 70 deaths, and 3,307 recovered. Out of 63,434 tests, 58,075 tests are pending, or 92%. 694 tests are pending, or 1%.

Out of the 4,665 people who have tested positive, Kern County Public Health reported 1,180 are isolated at home and 99 are isolated at a hospital, up 16 from Monday.
