BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Smart & Final released more policy changes in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Those changes include requiring face masks for customers and associates since mid-April and the installation of 36-inch plexiglass barriers at the registers of every store.
To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19, Smart & Final is providing single use t-shirt bags free of charge, or allowing customers to bag their own groceries using their reusable bags.
Smart & Final is continually reminding our associates and customers about the importance of handwashing, maintaining a safe distance and staying home when sick.
